The word “Covenant” means a special agreement which ties people together. In the Old Testament, God tied Himself with the people of Israel.

In the New testament, Old testament is introduced 224 times by words such as “It is written ” or “ God says.”. In the New Testament, there are 278 different verses from the Old Testament.

The New Testament is in the Old Testament. The Old Testament is in the New Testament revealed. What we are today is the result of what happened yesterday. What we do today will shape tomorrow. There are 39 books in the Old Testament.

The books include history, poetry, wisdom literature, and prophecy. We must ask 2 questions when we read the Old Testament.
