It is by grace that we have been saved. So grace is already given to us at the point of our salvation. Grace and salvation come together.

During salvation, we have been set free from sin, grace comes in to empower us to obey God’s word. Our obedience to God’s word is the evidence that we have truly received grace from Him.

Grace empowers us for the purpose of obedience to the faith. We cannot ask for increasing grace for our continuous sinning.

Grace is not meant for the purpose of excusing us for the sins we commit, God gives us grace to help us to produce fruits of holiness in our life to glorify Him.

Grace = faith + works. Faith without works is dead. Grace always empowers us to serve the Lord more effectively and fruitfully. Grace helps us to grow up spiritually.
