Baptism Prayer


Dear Father God,

I thank You for loving me so much that You send Your only Son Jesus into the world to die on the cross for my sins. I acknowledge that I am a sinner before You. Please forgive me my sins. Thank You for washing away my sins by the blood of Jesus, and thank You that You remember them no more.

I now turn away from my old ways and turn to Jesus as my Lord and Savior. I acknowlege that Jesus died for my sins and I now receive Him as Lord and Savior of my life.

Dear Father God, baptize me now in Your Holy Spirit. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit so that I have power to bear witness to Jesus. Let all the gifts of Your Holy Spirit be released to flow in my life now, so that I can serve You and build others up also. Let the power and strength of the Holy Spirit flow through me now.

Anoint me with the power of the Holy Spirit. Thank You for the gifts of:

the word of wisdom, the word of knowledge, the discerning of spirits, healings, working of miracles, faith, tongues, interpretation of tongues, and prophecy that You release unto me.
