Lord,

Thanks for the precious gift of __________________. Give me grace to bring him/her up in godliness. Grant me Your grace to be a mother guiding him/her in the path of righteousness. Give me the wisdom to teach him/her the ways of a holy life which you desire. Transform him into Your likeness.

Give ____________ a true repentant heart, let the holy spirit convict him of sin and righteousness and judgement. Give him grace and strength to turn away from his/her evil ways and to walk in path of righteousness for Your Name’s sake. Let Your love alleviate all his weaknesses and rebelliousness.
